Many hands make light work!
As your SJCA president is not against bribery,* she offers to provide pizza, bagels, coffee, beer, or whatever folks want** for committee meetings.
Some committees already have people leading them. Others still need chairs. Some committees will be more active than others will.
* No, no! We will NOT bribe elected officials! (wink)
** Steak and lobster? NO!!
Committees change as new issues arise and old issues are resolved. As of 2018, SJCA topics of concern and committees include:
- Traffic Control
- Sidewalks, Paths, and Pedestrian Safety
- Infrastructure Maintenance
- Utility Service Reliability Improvement
- Watershed, Stormwater, and Drainage
- Zoning and Development
- Airport Noise
- Crime and Safety
- Redistricting Operations Committee (ROC)
- Marketing
