For many (most/all) of us will receive an economic stimulus benefit (check). If you haven't yet, here is a link to determine your status: https://sa.www4.irs.gov/irfof-wmsp/login I got this from my CPA and essentially it takes you to the appropriate page at the IRS website.
I received my benefit in the mail yesterday. I almost threw it away. The envelope appeared to be like any other credit card solicitation you might receive in the mail. The benefit comes in the form of a visa/debit card. At the Crawford ranch we don't use debit cards, but I read the correspondence before I pitched it. This comes under, "Even a broken clock is right twice a day." Whew. It wasn't until I read the attached flyer I realized more fully what it was.
I have attached for your convenience what you can do with the debit card. Its both flexible and limiting (like govt), but since it is a great benefit there are no complaints here. You will need to register your account but it is pretty user friendly to do that.
